Questions and answers
Can I bring over the balances from my khata register?
Yes. When you add a customer, enter what they already owe as the opening balance. The owner or a manager can do this; a cashier can't.
Can a cashier change what a customer owes?
No. Balances only move through sales, returns and payments, and opening balances and credit limits need the owner's or a manager's rights.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The khata is kept in Tillo Retail on the shop's computer. Customers just pay at the counter as they always have.
Can I keep the khata of my suppliers too?
Yes. Goods received from a supplier go on their khata, and payments to them come off it, so you always know what you owe each distributor.
